Hmm.. haven't really thought of why I like them, I just do. I guess lavender for serenity, elegance, and a hint of royalty. Orange and gold because it's funky. And sky blue is relaxing.
Depending on where it's applied (like cars), I like black too. White is awesome as well. But as a colour in itself, I still like lavender the best.
I like lavender for those same reasons, too. Like the scent in aromatherapy, the lavender colour is soothing without being overpowering.. it'd be a wonderful colour to paint your room, in fact!
I'm not a big fan of black, generally, but I agree with you that black can be used quite well. It can really have that "classy elegence" to it, if used well.
My favourite colours, myself, are auburn and green. They remind me of fall colours, chimney smoke.. a calming goofy good-natured personality, .. and auburn on its own is kind has "rustic", Country and Western associations.
Ooc, was there anything in particular that had you ask this question?
I like blue for the same reasons as well. When I was younger, I used to like orange, 'cause I liked orange pop and orange candies and etc. Then I started liking yellow. And then I met all these girls who liked blue, and other ppl as well, and they sort of "convinced" me to like blue after a while. One of my friends was like, "I've liked blue for a long time, and I still haven't found an ugly shade of it yet." To which I agreed, I can think of ugly shades of almost every other colour, except for blue.
I'm okay with most other colours too; well, white is kinda bland, but besides that, I like all colours too.
